The WCEF is a group of local supporters of West Central formed to partner with students, teachers and administrators to assist with the district’s goal of preparing all students for learning and living in a changing world.
Small Wacom Intuos Pro Pen Tablets that will allow students to work self-paced and self-guided in the classroom. The initial impact will reach 42 students.

WCEF is focused on building a diverse funding base and endowment for our children and educators of West Central. The WCEF is a component fund of the Sioux Falls Area Community Foundation. It is a non-profit organization.
Trojan Night of Distinction - March 4, 2023

A 2018 grant to the West Central High School Physical Science and Chemistry classes allowed for the purchase of computer software that allows the students to explore the effect of greenhouse gases and rising temperatures by using simulations to adjust levels of several gasses and study the long term effects on both the land and oceans. The software will be used for multiple years and impact more than 50 students per year.
